Administering COM+ Partitions

COM+ partitions enable you to install and use multiple configurations of an application on a computer simultaneously. Using the Component Services administrative tool, you can create and configure partitions on the local computer and then install specific configurations of COM+ applications into them.

Note   To view and manage COM+ partitions with the Component Services administrative tool, select the Enable partitions check box on the Options tab of the computer's Properties page.
